Israel is considered to be one of the most informal countries in the world. Maybe its because many people are actually related if you back far enough, or maybe it’s the Middle East. Either way, getting on a bus or standing in line for something opens up the possibility of starting a discussion, which can lead to; “your niece is single? So is my nephew…”
