Over 17 years ago our family boarded an El Al plane, full of Nefesh B’Nefesh Olim, which brought us to our new life in Israel. We were dazed and confused as we started to navigate the system. We were driven by our idealism and filled with joy as we started our lives in this new-old land. Every experience, good or bad, helped to integrate us into this amazing country.
After retraining and finding work, sending our kids to different schools and now the army, we never lost the idealism and are still integrating into Israeli life. Over the 17 years we discovered that the reasons that moved us to make Aliyah were just a small part of the reasons for Aliyah. So, we decided to count just some of the reasons why to make Aliyah.
