If you are religious and live in the Diaspora, you are probably familiar with the explanation you have to give to your boss on why you need all of these extra days off. When you take them from your bank of vacations days, a series of holidays landing ion weekdays can be challenge.

In Israel, EVERYONE understands the cycle of holidays. And while some offices are open on fast days, Purim and chol hamoed, everyone understands your need to take off. This is a Jewish country!
